Preferences
Interface settings like accordion state and dismissed notices.
Analytics
Anonymised page-view statistics. Off by default until you accept the banner.
Third-party embeds
Set by Google Maps on the contacts page — controlled by Google, disclosed here.

Every cookie and storage key this site can set:
- cookies-accepted (localStorage) — remembers your banner choice. Essential. Lifetime: until cleared.
- gb-cart (session cookie) — holds basket contents while you shop. Essential. Lifetime: session.
- gb-csrf (session cookie) — security token for form submissions. Essential. Lifetime: session.
- gb-prefs (persistent cookie) — interface preferences. Preferences. Lifetime: 12 months.
- _gb_analytics (persistent cookie) — anonymised visit statistics. Analytics, consent-gated. Lifetime: 13 months.
- NID, SOCS (third-party, Google) — set by the Maps embed on contacts. Google's own policies govern these.
Consent & the banner
Non-essential cookies never load before your choice is made — the banner isn't a formality, it's a gate. Accept and Decline are equal-weight buttons on purpose; we consider 'accept everything by making decline painful' a design failure, not a growth strategy.
Managing cookies yourself
Beyond the banner, every browser lets you block or delete cookies entirely — your browser's help pages cover the how. Blocking essential cookies will break checkout; everything else degrades gracefully. Clearing localStorage resets your banner choice, which will reappear on your next visit.
Do Not Track & similar signals
We honour Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track signals where browsers send them — a GPC signal is treated as an automatic Decline for analytics cookies, no banner needed.
Change your mind
Your consent lives in your browser, not our database. Clear localStorage for this site and the banner returns on your next visit.
Declining analytics costs you nothing — the site works identically either way.
