Finding every hidden memory: a spoiler-tagged guide
Nine secret constellations hide inside the islands — some seen by fewer than one player in five. Where to look, what to rewind, and which two the community still argues about.
Every altar you light releases a memory into the sky — but some islands hide a second constellation for players who rewind the wrong thing on purpose. Nine have been documented. The community suspects ten.
Below: where each hides, without spoiling the puzzle that guards it. Skip to the island you're stuck on; the rest can wait for your replay.

The documented nine
The Kite lives on Island 04 — launch it backwards through the storm instead of forward. The Controller hides on Island 07: the only secret in the game you unlock by losing. The Anchor is the finale's quietest prize — hold completely still at the very last step, when everything tells you to move.
The remaining six are subtler: a cassette rewound past its beginning, a juice box emptied in the wrong order, a telescope pointed at the ground instead of the sky. The pattern is consistent — secrets live where the game's grammar suggests they can't.

The two rumoured ones
Datamining turned up two constellation assets with no confirmed trigger. Community theories range from 'hold a lantern underwater for a full minute' to 'finish the game without rewinding once' — the studio has confirmed only that 'patience is involved, twice'.
How to hunt them yourself
The rule of thumb: ask what the game expects you never to try. Rewind a prop that 'obviously' doesn't matter. Freeze a scene the game presents as pure decoration. The Gardens rewards impolite curiosity — it's the only puzzle game where the cheat code is suspicion.
Hunter's checklist
- Rewind the scenery, not just the mechanisms — secrets hide in props.
- If an island has a 'useless' object, it isn't. Freeze it and look again.
- The photo mode (v2.0) reveals constellations faintly — scout finished islands.
The reward beyond the medal
Each constellation adds a permanent star to your sky — visible on the title horizon forever after. Completionists call it 'the second ending': the sky full of memories you chose to recover. The levels atlas lists every island that holds a documented secret.
